Another first draft down

I suppose I’m feeling extra inspired these days.  I’m not sure exactly from what, but the best I can make of it is just recognizing that I have the time to do something that I love like writing and have the ability to turn off the other stuff (TV and other aspects of the “mundanium.:)

Not everyone has the ability to say no to activities that take them away from their passion, but I’m more aware of those time wasters now more than ever with the crazy state of economics today.  I don’t have the luxury to waste my time, even during my “down time.”

So, if you’re interested in writing, the next time you’re watching that reality show, fixing that old barbeque that you’re never going to use anyway, or playing that farming game on your computer, think about whether you want to be known as someone who is best known for those silly things or for being able to entertain and educate people with your words.
