I was saddened to see this post last night from JC Hutchins, who is one of the original fiction podcasters. Hutchins is a first rate writer of thriller/suspense fiction, whose “Personal Effects: Dark Art” is a great read that is uniquely packaged (pick one up at Amazon.com or your local bookstore to see what I mean.) On top of that he’s a pioneer in the realm of online marketing for authors.
Unfortunately, it appears that he’s made some decisions based upon his publisher not picking up sequels of his work, combined with his current efforts in promotion not working as well as expected.
My opinion is that he’s a great writer whose example has helped encourage more young writers to get out there and give writing a try than he’ll probably ever realize.
